Beyond Beginnings
At Beyond Beginnings we aim to assist children who find the mainstream school environment challenging and need extra consolidation. We offer one on one, individual attention, supporting the child and assisting them to reach their full potential. We look at the child holistically and as a unique, individual teaching them various strategies to cope in other environments.

About us
Individualised Education
Welcome to Beyond Beginnings.
If you’re here, you’re probably seeking a unique educational experience. Our mission is to provide just that, which is why we’ve broken away from traditional schooling and created a more dynamic approach that caters to your child’s specific needs. With years of teaching experience, we’ve noticed significant differences in today’s children compared to just five years ago. As such, we’ve observed how the traditional classroom setting may not be suitable for everyone. At Beyond Beginnings, we believe in helping each child thrive in their own way.
Saying that though, what is the alternative for Education?
As a parent, you may feel limited in your options when it comes to finding the right fit for your child’s education. Local government schools often have high student-to-teacher ratios, which can be challenging for children who don’t thrive in the traditional classroom setting. Additionally, it may be difficult to find a school that provides extra academic support or a more nurturing environment. At Beyond Beginnings, we believe in helping every student thrive based on their unique abilities and strengths. While we recognise the importance of addressing weaknesses, we also value the development and celebration of strengths to build self-confidence and combat self-doubt.

Self-belief and reassurance are essential for children to tackle difficult tasks. As such, it’s crucial for teachers and parents to find a learning environment that can adapt to their strengths and weaknesses. However, with the impact of Covid-19 and the significant loss of education, we face a fundamental problem. Though we all wish to move on from the pandemic, its long-term impacts on individuals and education cannot be ignored.
The extended closure of preschools during the Covid-19 pandemic has left many parents worried about their children’s education. Preschoolers missed out on crucial experiences that build essential skills, which are vital during the foundation phase of learning. Although some families had access to educational resources and outdoor equipment, many were unable to use them effectively due to time constraints. As a result, significant gaps in learning have emerged that require an adapted curriculum, a fresh mindset, and a new approach. It’s crucial that we work to recover what was lost and establish a solid foundation for future learning.
